So Nyeo Shi Dae ~Girls' Generation~

少女時代 (소녀시대 or So Nyeo Shi Dae in Korean; also seen So Nyuh Shi Dae or SNSD) is a 9-member female pop group formed by SM Entertainment. Their official English name is Girls' Generation.

So Nyeo Shi Dae, or Girls' Generation, were so named in hopes that the group will take over the music world in Asia. Pre-debut, they were considered the girl counter-part to SM Entertainment's 13 member boy group, Super Junior. The group consists of members who speak English, Japanese, and Chinese in addition to Korean. Many of the girls have had prior experience in the entertainment world as actresses, VJs, singers, and models.

The group's debut single, Into the New World (다시 만난 세계), was released on August 2, 2007. Their single consist of 3 tracks and 1 instrumental. Their second track "Beginning" was a remake of the "2 blocks down" by the popular Swedish girl group Play. Their debut performance on SBS's Inki Gayo aired three days later on August 5.

After the promotion of Into the New World, the girls started to promote their first album with the song Girls' Generation (소녀시대), a cover of Lee Seung Chul's song. The last performance aired on KBS 2TV Music Bank, with the girls using the outfits they used on the cover shooting of their 1st album. Their third MV featured Donghae as the main character, as the girl's lover with the song, Kissing You. The first performance aired on SBS Inkigayo on January 13, 2008.

Then in March 2008, a repackaged version of their first album was released, called Baby Baby, featuring a song of the same name. An MV was released featuring footage from behind the stage of the making of the Kissing You MV. Promotions for the first album have finished and they are currently working on their second album.

Synopsis
Jang Sae Byuk is a a girl who tries to find a new meaning in life after she receives an eye cornea transplant from the doctor that took care of her after her accident. That doctor, Kim Na Young, died in a car accident on her way back from Africa. Sae Byuk becomes close with the Na Young’s family after finding them. The family slowly accepts her as part of the family. Kang Ho Se and Kim Tae Poong, Na Young’s twin brother, have disliked each other since they were young kids. This is mostly Tae Poong hates Ho Se because Ho Se’s family was rich and because Tae Poong’s father was Ho Se’s father’s driver and his mother was the maid.
